20 Place Carnot, 69002, LyonOne of the most beautiful dining rooms in Lyon's Carnot Square is La Brasserie Elite, the excellent successor to the Michelin starred Brasserie Alsacienne which used to be found in this spot. After 6 months of hard work the brasserie now boasts a chic yet classic look with polished woods, giant mirrors and impressive chandeliers and has an authentic and refined ambience. The menu has strong Lyonnais influences and features dishes such as the Lyonnais salad (small chunks of bacon, garlic croutons and poached egg) followed by pike dumplings with Elite lobster sauce, and to finish on a high note the homemade nougat ice cream with red fruit coulis.
